With the exhibition "Bremain Friends", we want to mark our continued collaboration with artist friends in the UK now that it is a fact that Great Britain is leaving the European Union. However, our friendship will not disappear with Brexit, nor will our opportunities to continue to exhibit these skilled and esteemed artists.
Our friends also belong to the half of the population who did not want to leave the EU
without staying, "bremain" in the European Community.
"Catastrophe", "a nightmare", "so sad about it" are some of the expressions we heard from friends - but also that they are happy that "there are little ways to keep contacts with EU members alive"
We have also made some new friends for the exhibition. Carry Akroyd , who did the lithograph above, is one of them. We return to a presentation of all exhibitors in "Bremain Friends"
The exhibition will open in three stages - first digitally on our website on Saturday 2 January. later by appointment and eventually on site in the gallery.
We return to new dates for the exhibition.
